Enterprise architecture team consists of a group of individuals who are experts at creating a blueprint for a company’s full-stack architecture - from Strategy, to Business Services to Technology Components to servers/cloud infrastructure.
EA teams also help advise the business and IT on selecting the right technology solutions that (1) best actually meet business needs and (2) integrate or align with the future IT strategic direction of a company.
To get us all on the same page, let’s start with a simple definition of Enterprise Architecture.
Enterprise architecture is a framework that supports the growth and modernization of IT and provides processes that unify, standardize and organize an IT infrastructure so that it aligns with business goals.
To accomplish this EA teams focus on 3 goals:
